Corporate Social Responsibility
UNGC it is the largest voluntary corporate responsibility initiative in the world, with over 12,000 corporate participants and other stakeholders from over 145 countries. It was born as a strategic policy initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.
The Code aims to address the crime of child sex tourism through: Creating a highly aware and well-trained tourism industry that can recognize and prevent potential abuse and building zero tolerance environments where travelers understand that these crimes are unacceptable and offenders will be prosecuted. To date, more than 1,300 tourism companies from 66 countries have already joined.
